We are currently seeking a Senior Quality Analyst to join our team and mentor our testing efforts.

Job Summary: As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will be responsible for mentoring a team of 2-3 testers, developing and maintaining manual and automated test suites, conducting API testing, and setting up CI/CD pipelines for automation suites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual testing, automation testing using Java Selenium, Cypress, or Python, a deep understanding of software development processes, and prior experience working on B2B projects.

Key Responsibilities:‍

• Proven expertise in Collaborating with a team of 4-5 testers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure high-quality testing practices.
• Develop and maintain manual and automated test suites using Java Selenium, Cypress, or Python to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Conduct API testing to validate the functionality and performance of backend services.
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automation suites to enable continuous integration and deployment of software updates.
• Perform thorough regression testing to detect and prevent software defects.
• Monitor and analyse test results, identify trends, and implement improvements to enhance overall testing efficiency and effectiveness.

• ~ 2 years experience using Database querying tool such as MySQL, PostgreSQL.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies and Agile practices.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams for a faster and to have qualitative delivery, report issues, and facilitate resolution of testing-related issues.
• Internal & External Reports generation & maintenance : (E-mail - written communication).
• Attention to detail, understanding on customer Journey / user path.
• UI/UX testing.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent field.
• 4-6 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on manual testing, automation & API testing.
• > 3 years experience in building an automation suite using Java Selenium, Cypress, or python.
• Experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Travis CI.
• > 3 years of experience in one of the tools mentioned above.
• Should have already handled Integrations / e2e cycles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills in real time, with a keen attention to detail.
• Proven ability to collaborate and mentor a team of testers, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with various stakeholders & clients.
• Knowledge Operating Systems various types, usage of different browser types, Testing different types of applications (native, android, iOS, web).
• Prior experience working on B2B projects is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements, identify testing needs, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
• Knowledge & proven expertise on any of the performance testing tools such as JMeter or Gatling or Soap UI.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) or relevant professional certifications
